Destrehan Plantation Spring Garden and Pet Show

Destrehan Plantation in partership with LSU AgCenter, Louisiana Master Gardeners, and St. Charles Parish Animal Shelter presents The 2nd Annual Spring Garden and Pet Show.

The show will feature educational seminars on plants, trees, insects, and wildlife and pet care.

The show will include the following:

Plant nurseries, arts and crafts vendors and small business owners selling or advertising products related to the porch, patio, garden and lawn
Rescue pets available for adoption
Educational seminars and exhibits
A country store
Live entertainment
Spring speciality drinks with alcohol
A food and beverage court

Children's Activities Include:

A discovery/activity tent
A demonstration from Bee Guyz LLC Beekeepers
A demonstration from the bee keeper
A garden demonstration with LSU AgCenter
Cheramie Farm, LLC Petting Zoo (Saturday Only)

Live Entertainment:

10:00 am - 12:00 noon: Harpist Megan Kwiatkowski - Rose Garden

12:00 noon - 3:00 pm: Nola Dukes Jazz Quartet - On Stage
