The spectacular three-day showcase of the country's most talented artists, craftspeople and entertainers is centered in Downtown Syracuse. The festival provides opportunities for visitors to experience the vibrancy of Downtown Syracuse through a presentation of visual and performing arts that demonstrate diverse art forms and cultures.

Arts & Crafts - The 2024 Syracuse Arts & Crafts Festival will feature around 150 artists and crafters representing 19 U.S. States and Canada. Visitors can shop and browse among the art and craft exhibits showcasing an exceptionally wide selection of contemporary arts and crafts, from functional to decorative.

Performing Arts - The festival also features the performing arts. A full schedule of free continuous entertainment will include street performances by musicians, costumed ethnic dance groups, and local singers/songwriters.

Summer Refreshments - Food vendors will be on-site to serve a diverse mix of summer favorites.

Family Activities - Families play a big role in the event’s success, and participatory activities are offered with them in mind. Interactive projects allow young visitors opportunities to assemble 3-dimenstional creations.

A Community Festival - Area businesses participate by holding open houses and other activities, including family-friendly art activities and a popular sidewalk art competition, Chalk Jam. Several of these activities are presented with the Everson Museum of Art, the Onondaga Historical Association, the YMCA - Downtown Writers Center and the Montgomery Street Collective crafts show. The Syracuse Arts & Crafts Festival runs concurrently with the Northeast Jazz & Wine Festival in Clinton Square. Thousands of visitors will attend all these events, making this the signature cultural event of the summer in Syracuse.
