Wa Du Shuda Days have existed in New Lisbon for many years. The name Wa Du Shuda means “rest your canoe here.” It traces back to New Lisbon’s original Ho-Chunk heritage.
The Wa Du Shuda Days Festival has grown and changed much over the years. Our mission is to provide a Free fun-filled family-oriented weekend with something to please everyone. Plenty of food, music, games, and fun.
The volunteer planning committee wants people to walk away with great memories from their Wa Du Shuda weekend here in New Lisbon! Community involvement is what it is all about. From the kids' games to the fabulous food, to the races, and live music. There is a little something for all! We pride ourselves on the beauty of our natural arena for our amazing fireworks display. Each year it gets better and better!
